Remember, getting a balance of these nutrients is important. In addition, spending time in the sun is a natural way for the body to produce vitamin D, however be mindful of sun exposure and use appropriate protection. Research shows that exposure to the sun for a 10-15minutes, 2-3 times a week is adequate for the body to synthesis vitamin D.
If you suspect that you have a vitamin D deficiency, talk to your doctor.
